A break from work

Ako? Dakilang asawa, alalay, photographer, at tagahanga.

Nakakatuwa
- kasi marami kaming supporters.

Nagpapasalamat

Bye, My N70

Yehey! I received my new phones, Nokia 3610 and 3600, from Globe Telecom last Monday.

I have two lines so I got two phones, too! I took the 3610 while I gave the 3600 to Jojo.I am very excited because this will be my first time to have a flip/clamshell phone. Feeling ko sosyal eh HAHAHAHA. I gave my N70 to my Nanay.

Despereaux

Before going to bed, Jojo placed mouse traps inside and outside our bedroom hoping to catch Despereaux.
In the morning, I immediately looked for the mouse traps but Despereaux was not there. Lucky mouse!
Hmmm... on second thought... maybe he just want to say something to me last night, like..."I mean you no harm, just let me out of the room."? ngiiii...kakakilabot

A restless night

After I finished ironing our clothes for a week, I went to bed. I hoped for a good sleep because I'm a little tired so I slept at 10:30 PM while Jojo watched TV. I snuggled up myself with a blanket and closed my eyes.

I'm already dreaming when I felt something crawling on my right leg then to my right arm. At first, I thought it was still a part of my dream ... but it hurts a bit. Half sleep, half awake, I immediately jumped out of the bed.

Jojo looked at me, startled.

"Dad, may daga! May daga!" (Actually it was a Mouse but we don't call it Bubwit.) Yelling while throwing the blanket.

Jojo searched for the mouse but it was already gone.

"Tulog ka na, ako bahala."

"Pano nakapasok yan dito?" I asked.

"Naiwan yatang bukas ang pinto ng kwarto natin", he said.

He continued to watch TV while I returned to bed. Afraid to sleep, still feeling the mouse's feet against my skin... ngiii...

My eyes became heavy and everthing went black.

Then... I felt something crawling again... on my left arm. I turned my head on my left arm and saw the mouse crawling toward my face!!! AHHHH!!!! I struggled to jump out of the bed because part of the blanket was under Jojo's body.

"Dad, may daga na naman!"

He woke up and turned on the light. He saw the mouse climbing on the window curtain, tried to smash it with a broom but the lucky mouse escaped. We searched the room but could not find it. We went back to bed but after a few minutes, we could hear the mouse running.

"Buhay pa nga! Ang kulit talaga ng daga na iyon." Jojo whispered.

He stood up, turned on the light, switched off the air con, opened the door, and told me to sleep.

It was already 4:30 AM when my eyes became heavy and started dreaming again.

Programmer's Quotes

While browsing on the net, I saw these quotes in one of the forum sites I've visited.

"Everything in Life can be solved with an 'If/Else' statement."

"Life is like one big try/catch statement, nested within a loop."

Pasalubong

Kikay Candz, thanks a lot sa pasalubong. Sa uulitin hehehe.

Ocean City, Maryland

Ocean view from our room.

Big waves! Wouldn't dare to swim.

I like the beach though the sand isn't white.

Eating time. Crabs! The best crabs I've ever tasted here in the US of A! Yummy!

Breakfast at The Satellite.

Augs and Jun having fun. The water is sooo cold! Brrrr...
